Symposium dinner

This year’s symposium dinner will be at


Set in a beautiful historic sandstone building, and set back from Glebe Point Road, inner city Sydney with a large courtyard and beautiful fountain, Fountain 77 is a great place to relax and enjoy a great Italian meal, or drinks from the bar.

Fountain 77 has an extensive menu including home made gluten free pizza and pasta and a great selection of vegetarian options and are happy to cater to your dietary requirements.

The dinner costs AUD 50.00. To book the dinner with your registration, click on the register now button in the right pane of this site or  go to the registration page.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that we have a list of accommodation on our webpage under the tab Around the Symposium. Try to secure your accommodation as soon as possible as a major sporting event takes place in Sydney in the week of the Symposium and accommodation might be booked out.

Symposium themes

As a  follow up to the call for papers:

Symposium sessions will include the following key themes:

 

  1. Migration and Refugees
  2. Who is the ‘Human’ in HR?
  3. Poverty Health and Epidemiology
  4. De-humanised bodies
  5. Politics and citizenship
  6. Environmental contests
  7. Can sociality be based on rights or can rights guarantee sociality?
